President: Zaharah McKinney originally from New York City, Zaharah received her B.A. in Communication and Culture from Clark University, Worcester, MA. As President, she has two major goals: to provide quality, relevant, business and social events for graduate management students and to develop a mentoring program that will further cultivate strong management professionals. Zaharah is a candidate for an MBA with a self-designed specialization in Organizational Development. She has a passion for developing leaders. When she is not cooking, exercising or reading up on the latest technology, she can be found encouraging youth to live out their dreams.

 Vice President: Worawin Mick Soncharoen is from Bangkok, Thailand. He holds an  undergraduate degree in industrial design from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. At UMass Boston, he is a  full-time MBA student specializing in Marketing. Prior to joining the MBA program at UMass Boston, he worked  in advertising agency in Bangkok as a brand strategist. Worawin has special interests in photography, art and  design, movies, and travel. He is looking forward to being a very active member of the GBA.

Fund raising and mentoring associate: Vishwa Shroff is from Gujarat, India. She has an Electronics & Communication Engineering degree from her undergraduate study. While in college, she was a freelance features’ writer for Indian Express, a popular newspaper in India. After the completion of undergraduate studies, she worked for The Akanksha Foundation, one of the major NGOs in India that strives to provide quality education to underprivileged children living in slums of Mumbai. At Umass Boston she is a full-time MBA student specializing in Finance & Healthcare Management. In her free time, she loves to explore, travel, read, sing and meet new people.

Treasurer: Chia-Wei Liu (Jarvis)  Jarvis is from Taipei, Taiwan. He majored in business administration at National Central University. After graduating from college, he worked as a mortgage specialist at a local bank in Taiwan. He stayed in Arizona for a little while to experience the life in the states! At UMass Boston he is a is a full-time MSA student. He loves to watch movies, take pictures, and exercise for fun.

Marketing and event planner: Prerna Arora  is from Gujarat, India. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. At UMass Boston, she is a full time MBA student specializing in Marketing and Operations. Prior to her joining the MBA program at UMass, she worked in an advertising company as a client servicing associate. She is also a Graduate Assistant at the College of Management and Education at UMass, Boston and is looking forward to play an active role in the GBA.

Vice President – Information Technology and Social Media: Sujith Xavier Kurian is from the southern part of India (Kerala). Currently a full time MBA student at UMASS Boston specializing in Operations and Information Systems. Sujith has close to 4 years of work experience in the Technology Infrastructure field. He has worked in the following domains: Tech support, IT Helpdesk, Systems Engineering and Project Management. He enjoys running, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
